Q.  Where is the Camp located?

A. The Camp will be held in the fully air-conditioned, WiFi enabled Town and Village Synagogue, 334 East 14th Street (between 1st and 2nd Avenues).

Q.  How much does the Camp cost?

A. The full summer fee is $2,550 (six weeks).

The cost for any two sessions is $1,900 (four weeks).

The cost for a single session is $1,050 (two weeks).

Certain classes or clubs may require a small additional fee to cover the cost of special materials that you will use during the class or club and then will be yours to keep.

Q.  What are the dates of the Camp?

A. The full summer session runs from July 1 to August 9, 2013.

Session 1 runs from July 1 to July 12.

Session 2 runs from July 15 to July 26.

Session 3 runs from July 29 to August 9.

Q.  What are the Camp hours?

A. The Camp day begins at 9:00 a.m. (doors open at 8:45 a.m.) and ends at 4:00 p.m. (if you are picking up your child, please be prompt). The Camp runs Monday through Friday.

Q.  What are the ages of the Campers?

A. The Clubhouse Camp is specially designed for campers ages 8 to 14.  The Clubhouse Camp Jr. is specially designed for campers ages 3 to 7.

Q. What about transportation?

A. The Camp is conveniently located one-half block from the First Avenue station of the “L” subway line.  Additionally, it is easily reached by 1st Avenue or 2nd Avenue buses.  We are currently planning counselor-led subway pools from the Upper West Side and we would be happy to help you arrange transportation groups from other neighborhoods. Please contact us and we will do our best to connect you with other nearby campers.

Q.  What about Camp Staff?

A. The Camp staff includes instructors as well as counselors.  There will be a health director on premises at all times.  Our staff has been carefully chosen for their enthusiasm as well as their expertise.  All of our instructors are the best in the business.  Our counselors, many of whom have worked with us in the past, are warm, engaging and seriously talented.

Q.  Will the Camp serve lunch?

A. In order to keep the camp fees as low as possible we ask that each camper bring a bag lunch which we can refrigerate.  The Camp will supply ENDLESS daily snacks and drinks.

Q.   Why are there “Classes” and “Clubs”?

A. Classes are held each morning (two per day) and run across the entire session. allowing enough time to really develop the skills presented in the Class.  Clubs are held each afternoon (two per day) and change weekly, giving each camper the opportunity to select four different Clubs each session (full summer campers will be able to participate in six separate classes and twelve separate clubs).  Although the Clubs will be expertly moderated, Clubs are intended to be less formal and more relaxed than Classes and, in most cases, will allow campers to have significant input in how the Club runs.

The Clubhouse Camp, L.L.C. reserves the right to cancel, or make substitutions for, any of the Classes or Clubs listed on this website at any time and for any reason including, but not limited to, the unavailability of a particular instructor or in the event that too few campers select that Class or Club.

The Clubhouse Camp dates for 2011 are June 27 to August 5.Session 1 runs from June 27 to July 8.Session 2 runs from July 11 to to July 22.Session 3 runs from July 25 to August 5.
